Turfscapes offer three different annual programmes for their customers, from a basic four seasons weed and feed programme through to their gold programme containing every aspect of care your lawn will need over the year, Turfscapes have your lawn care covered!

For an affordable fee you can have a Qualified Greenkeeper assess your lawn and provide you with expert advice on how to look after your lawn yourself, as well as recommendations on products and what does and doesn’t work.
The Turfscapes lawn care programmes
Note: Although not compulsory, Turfscapes recommend a comprehensive soil nutrient test of your lawn prior to the commencement of your annual programme. This allows Turfscapes to see whether or not our lawn has any nutrient deficiencies which can be corrected through delivery of your programme.
Turfscapes’ Services at a Glance
- Lawn Mowing – Turfscapes offers both cylinder and rotary mowing services. The best lawns are mown weekly during the growth season so the lawn is “groomed” more so than cut. Cylinder mowing adds extra “wow” factor to your property and is one of the best ways to maintain your lawn.
- Lawn Aeration – also known as coring, aeration increases oxygen into the soil profile, promotes new growth, encourages deeper rooting and assists with water penetration.
- Lawn Dethatching – also known as scarifying, dethatching removes excess dead growth from the lawn that can promote disease, pests, and also impede water penetration. Dethatching also promotes new shoots which helps thicken your lawn.
- Top Dressing – can be used for a couple of different reasons. Top dressing following aeration can allow higher quality soil into the profile and help improve structure. Top dressing is also a good way of smoothing out your lawn by filling any hollows and helping prevent scalping when mowing.
- Soil pH and Nutrient Testing – an important part of lawn health, good soil health directly contributes to good grass health.
- Weed Pest and Disease Identification and Treatment – Correct identification is critical to control of your problem. Too often dangerous chemicals are applied unnecessarily for the wrong problem but you can avoid this with Turfscapes licensed chemical applicators.
- Fertilising – Encourage healthy growth and fortify your lawn with regular fertilising. Turfscapes use a combination of granular and liquid fertilisers to ensure your lawn receives the right nutrients at the right time. Knowing what nutrients to apply and applying them at the right times of year is crucial to great results. Turfscapes DON’T offer generic solutions like some franchises.
